For cold use, simply place in the freezer for one hour.
As a hot compress either place in hot water for 5 - 10 minutes, or microwave immersed in water for 1 minute.
It is always recommended to wrap the pack in a towel before use.
Gel wrap has a hook and loop strap for wraparound application, and holds in place where you need it.
